B.Safe is a Driving Standards Agency Ordit Approved Training School. This means that B. Safe’s premises and Instructors have passed stringent exams to qualify to teach people like you to become Driving Instructors.

The Training Courses are flexible, you can train around your current commitments or fast track if you’re in a hurry!!
Unlike many Training establishments B. Safe is also a Driving School, this means that we can offer you a Trainee Licence and a position in our progressive growing Driving School.
The qualifying exam to become a Driving Instructor is in three stages.

Part 1
This is a Theory Test where you will be required to answer 100 questions and take the hazard perception test. An overall pass mark of 85% is required. The test is split into four sections and  a minimum of 80% is required to pass each section. This part of the exam is home based with classroom sessions. Also regular contact can be maintained by phone or email.
Part 2
This  is a test of your Driving ability. The Course is for 16 hours and you will be trained to drive at the high standard required to pass this test. You can use your own car or one of ours. The course can be taken over a few days or weeks its up to you!
Part 3
This is a test of your ability to Instruct. It is a 40 hour Course, mostly in car Training, where we will teach you the most up to date techniques required to pass this test. One of  B.Safe’s excellent briefings books is included in the Course.
